About our camp

Since 1946, Kennolyn Camps has provided the very best in summer camp programs for boys and girls. 2019 marks a new chapter with the launch of Kennolyn Camps, Huntington Lake. Initially a girl’s camp back in the 1930s and more recently a retreat and family camp, this location is now part of the Kennolyn family of camps. Located on specially permitted property within the Sierra National Forest, Kennolyn Camps, Huntington Lake has it all. An experienced management team, safe and comfortable accommodations, excellent summer climate and unlimited access to the sparkling waters of Huntington Lake. Designed for campers aged 10-16, the program offers the level of flexibility kids want as well as the level of supervision that parent’s expect.

The small size of our camp allows us to offer ultimate flexibility in scheduling. Campers choose from a range of activities daily with the option to change depending on their mood. Occasionally we do activities by cabin group and other times as an entire camp. The ratio is about 75/25 (campers choosing their own schedule 75% of the time.)
