About our camp
Located on top of Lookout Mountain in North Georgia, Camp Woodmont welcomes boys and girls ages 6-14. Accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), this camp has a non-denominational Christian atmosphere and is suitable for kids with any religious background. At Woodmont Camp, opened in 1981, they focus on developing face-to-face relationships and spending time in nature – “without the pressure of technology”.
The cabins house 6-8 campers who choose a bed and a shelf for personal stuff. Each shower has a private curtained dressing area. One counselor lives in each cabin with campers. The camp has an on-site registered nurse, and each child receives immediate medical assistance in case of illness or injury.
With no sodas served, campers have three meals and a snack during the day. An important place for getting to know mate campers is the large dining hall where everyone eats together.
