About our camp
Since 1941, Camp Natoma invites campers to “sleep under the stars, connect with nature, and be creative”. Girls and boys who have completed 1st – 10th grades are eligible to participate in the camp. Sessions last for six weeks. A weekend Family Camp is also available.
Camp Natoma, located in the Adelaida Mountains, Paso Robles, California, is accredited by the American Camp Association and follows its regulations and guidelines in nearly every area: management, safety, health, food, etc.
The cabins are without walls and a roof – campers sleep on metal beds with mattresses, so they should come with their warm sleeping bag and sheets. Campers are notified where to change with privacy, and they should be prepared for a quick daily shower at the pool. Hot showers are available weekly – on a rotation. Food is made following nutrition guidelines – breakfast, lunch, dinner are the main meals offered, with dessert after dinner, and a mid-afternoon snack.
Camp programs & activities
Outdoor activities are the heart of Camp Natoma program, including nature exploration, hiking, swimming, archery, team-building, and more. The staff will supervise each camper to participate in an activity that matches his/her age. Tomahawks, skits, crafts, outdoor cooking, art, drama, guitar, as well as introductory leadership training are also offered.
