About our camp

At Camp Wavus for Girls, campers “explore, challenge, learn and enjoy”. It’s a sister camp of Camp Kieve for Boys, and is open to girls aged 8-16. The full-session program lasts for 26 days, while younger campers, 2nd-4th graders, can attend the 10-day introductory program to gain the confidence of being away from home.

Trips are the central part of Camp Wavus, lasting up to 22 days for the oldest and more experienced campers. Girls learn how to take calculated risks and overcome challenges, take care of themselves and their teammates, develop independence and resilience, as well as practice patience and kindness. No trip requires prior preparation or knowledge – all the necessary instruction is given by the qualified staff. The equipment provided ensures the comfort and safety of all campers.
