About our camp
At Timber Lake Camp they believe that the environment of fun should be safe and friendly. It’s the key to empower campers with the “edge” that will help them, both personally and professionally, on their way to being adults. Building self-esteem, self-confidence and resilience are the core purposes Timber Lake Camp states in its mission statement.
For more than five decades Timber Lake Camp communicates its values through a unique program called Starfish Values Program® which teaches the importance of making and keeping friends, having a strong character and realizing your own essential role in the society.
A balanced diet is offered to every kid in this camp – you can even check out their weekly menu on their website. Special needs and allergies are also considered by the Food Service Director. Health and well-being of campers is under regular control by on-site M.D.s, nurses and a health center administrator.
Parents and kids are welcome to take part in the Rookie Day to have a close look at the camp and its facilities.
Camp programs & activities
Sports and creative activities are offered at the camp to provide a memorable and fulfilling experience. At Timber Lake Camp, a close attention is paid to athletic instruction through a large selection of games: basketball, soccer, golf, flag football, tennis, and more (together with elective ones such as creative arts, communication, design and technology, etc.).
Kids will also enjoy waterfront activities in the outdoor pool and two private lakes with the guidance of Red Cross certified staff. Campers can feel what it’s like to be adventurous owing to zip line, mountain biking and wall climbing. The camp also offers special events and a teen program which includes trips and leadership training.
