About our camp
Here is the formula for success in Muskoka Woods Camp: fun plus reflection equals confidence. The staff has its essential role in making this formula work. That’s why their hiring team has passed Praesidium training - a world leader in Child Risk Management.
Muskoka Woods Camp sits on the shores of Lake Rosseau, located in Ontario, Canada, 120 miles away from Toronto.
Campers are grouped based on their age, thus making up five separate sections, each of them having a carefully built program. This approach helps 7-17-year-old girls and boys improve their skills in an environment where their age, competence, and preferences are taken into account.
Before arriving at the camp, participants will be requested to share any health requirements they might have so that the health care staff can accommodate campers accordingly (homesickness is also given a proper attention). All efforts are made to leave parents assured that “their child is being cared for just as they would at home”.
Camp programs & activities
Group-specific instruction is catered to all campers in a wide array of programs: creative arts, water sports, land activities, action sports, and specialty weeks. The Muskoka English Academy is an additional program, particularly helpful for those who seek to improve their skills in English. The program is ESL accredited and involves only licensed instructors.
