About our camp
A 7-week camp, Lake Bryn Mawr fosters loyalty, beauty, merit and comradeship in every girl it welcomes. It’s a uniform camp – both for campers and the staff. The green and gold theme takes a leave only during the Carnival and movie nights.
Campers live in cabins, allowing girls to meet new and returning campers. The staff makes sure the groups rotate each summer, so that each camper has the chance to meet new girls and make new friendships.
Junior and Senior groups make up the two divisions in the camp. Juniors focus on fun and play. Counselors for this age group are trained to assist young girls to have a smooth and pleasurable experience at camp.
Seniors are trusted more serious tasks – they start taking leadership roles by planning and managing camp activities. Electives are available for this age group to help girls excel in the activities they love most of all. Out-of-camp adventures also start with senior group to give campers an opportunity to face and fight the challenges of overnight trips.
